DAIFULOU & PANTSU MAN (2026):

Dai Fu Lou Team (2009):
ChungDha "Jona" Lam, Alan Leung & Mars Chan 
Dai Fu Lou's story was begin when Jona Lam (ChungDha) went from Holland to Hong Kong in 2008. He was looking out something new in there, and along the way he met with Alan Leung a Local Cross-Media Artist, form that on they form a team of creative ideas.
One night when Jona and Alan were brainstorming and sketching some ideas for making a brand new toy's design, Jona was accidentally sketching a character which is absurdly  looking like a "Diapers" but it supposed to be a carrot. The character was extreme "Ugly" but it also funny and thought would be able to do tons of underwear jokes with that.
The next day Alan found a great idea to go further with it, and so the adventure started. They had to find a proper name for that "Ugly Diapers" and they searched tons of names online, but allot of names have been already registrated with underwear and etc.  They wanted to aim the target audience more likely Cantonese and maybe Japanese. So suddenly the name Dai Fu Lou (???) pop-up from their mind, which in Cantonese mean Underwear Man, and also later added Pantsu Man for the Japanese audience.
The very first Dai Fu Lou was not the most pretty one and the problem with that it didn't had a very own thing cause the eyes and looks too much like other cartoons out there and might get mixed up. From drawing up different designs we found the perfect eyes that would set the tone for this character.
However from then we have thought about tons of ideas for a story, but it was very hard to find the best one, cause the first story was a person who wakes up one day getting an underwear for his head but need to find allot of money to get an surgery to get his normal head back. But that story would been fun but meant he would be one alone from the begin. But then we though we thinking way to difficult and need to think much closer and integrate our own life story and what we daily happening to use that for the story and was great and easy to think of a story.
And so Dai Fu Lou Story would start with Dai Fu Lou who is a person working in a laundry shop and one day there was someone who wants him to go with him to Hong Kong to work for him. However in the end he held Dai Fu Lou captured in China to clean his dirty laundry. Luckly one day Dai Fu Lou got away and went to Hong Kong and found tons of people who are like him and becomes friends and start an adventure.
